Why did Muhammad leave Mecca for Medina

When Prophet PBUH started to deliver messages of Allah, the people of  Mecca became his Enemies and later started to harsh him in different ways. Prophet PBUH with his company of the Muslims tolerate for some time, but as the wrath began to increase they started to migrate to Madina (Yathrib at that time). This was the reason why Muhammad S.A.W left Mecca.

This migration of Prophet PBUH took place in the shades of night because the enemies were ready to kill Prophet PBUH.
