What actually do we mean by ZAWAL WAQT?

All praises to Allah who is the creator of all the world's entities and Prophet PBUH is his Messenger. Zawal Time as per Islamic point of view means the perfect time when the sun is at its crowning point. It has also been described in the Hadith that no prayers should be offered during this time. Zawal Time gets changed with time and is different in different nations.

How many times and when does it occur in a day?

In a day there are three Zawaal times.
1. During the early Sunrise when the sun begin to rise until it completely rises to the height of a spears length.
2. When the Sun is at its crowning point (zenith)
3. When the Sun is about to set until it has been fully set.


Narrated by Saaiduna Uqbah Bin Amir Radiallahu Anhu that Prophet (PBUH) of Allah used to refused us to pray or bury our dead during Zawal Times.
